What’s Included
- Savage Arms Fox Model BSE-G Series G 20 Gauge side-by-side shotgun
Built by Savage Arms in the United States, this Fox Model BSE-G Series G is a break-action, side-by-side 20 gauge with a 2-round capacity. The receiver is marked "FOX BSE-G," and the barrels carry the Westfield, Massachusetts address along with "PROOF TESTED 20 GAUGE 3 INCH CHAMBER" markings and inspector/date stamps on the internal flats.
The shotgun is configured with 28-inch double barrels and fixed chokes rated Modified and Improved Modified. Chambers are cut for 3-inch shells, offering flexibility within 20 gauge loads while retaining the fixed-choke performance profile.
Sighting is straightforward with a ventilated rib and front bead. Operation is via a single trigger with a tang safety, and the BSE feature provides automatic ejectors for positive hull clearance on opening.
The walnut furniture includes a pistol-grip stock and beavertail forend with pressed checkering, plus a buttplate with white-line spacer. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches. Metalwork wears a blued finish with a blued/black receiver.
Factory scroll engraving highlights the receiver, including the classic FOX banner and an oval fox-head panel, providing period-correct decoration consistent with Series G production.
