This Bonnie & Clyde Custom is a factory-engraved Thompson that features wanted-poster motifs, newspaper headlines, portraits, and poem excerpts across the metalwork. The walnut pistol grip carries a laser-engraved Texas Ranger star, tying the commemorative theme together while preserving the Thompson’s classic profile.
Built on the 1927A1 platform with 1928-pattern elements, it uses a closed-bolt, direct-blowback action with a top-mounted charging handle. The configuration accepts both stick and drum magazines and includes a 50-round drum and a 20-round steel stick magazine.
The rifle retains hallmark Thompson features: a finned steel 18 in barrel capped by a Cutts-style compensator and a walnut vertical foregrip for a period-correct layout. A fixed walnut buttstock with a rear sling swivel rounds out the furniture.
Sight regulation is handled by iron sights consisting of a pinned front blade and an open, adjustable rear aperture. The 1:16 RH twist supports .45 ACP performance, and the bore and rifling are in excellent condition as noted.
The steel receiver wears Burnt Bronze and Black Cerakote with an antiqued, distressed appearance. Markings include AUTO-ORDNANCE CORPORATION GREELEY, PA, 1927A1 .45 ACP, and this configuration is cataloged under MPN T150DC6 with UPC 602686422864. Overall length is 41 inches with an approximate weight of 13 lb.
