This Romanian-made GP WASR-10/63 is a classic AKM-pattern semi-auto chambered in 7.62x39, built by CN Romarm S.A./Cugir and imported by Century Arms International. It features a 16.3 inch threaded barrel with a detent-retained muzzle device, a left-side optics/accessory rail, and hardwood furniture. The trunnion is year-coded 1983, and the bore condition is excellent.

Built on a stamped, non-dimpled AKM-pattern receiver with the spacer-plate rivet pattern and a ribbed AKM top cover, this rifle reflects Cugir’s long-running AKM production methods. It carries clear origin and import markings: Made by CN ROMARM S.A./CUGIR – ROMANIA and Imported by CAI, GEORGIA, VT. The trunnion is year-coded 1983.
The 16.3 inch barrel is threaded, and the muzzle device is retained by the front sight detent. A gas block bayonet lug is present. The action is the standard AKM long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt, and the rifle uses a manual safety selector.
Sighting is traditional AKM: a protected-post front sight and a tangent rear sight with a P battle setting and graduations to 10. A left-side optics/accessory rail is installed, offering a mounting interface that aligns with typical AK side-rail mounts.
The rifle wears hardwood furniture, including fixed stock and handguards with a two-slot lower, plus a steel buttplate with trapdoor. It accepts detachable, double-column AK-pattern magazines and includes two 30-round TAPCO polymer magazines. Sling swivels are installed.
