What’s Included
- Colt Junior .22 Short pistol
Spanish-made for Colt and import-marked accordingly, this Junior represents the Astra-built .22 Short submodel produced before the 1968 import changes. The frame and slide are blued steel, and the serial number features a "CC" suffix on both the frame and slide.
Its fixed 2.25 in barrel and blowback, single-action, hammer-fired operation deliver the classic compact pocket-pistol configuration. The design uses top ejection and rear slide serrations for straightforward manipulation.
Controls are period-correct and practical: a heel-type magazine release, manual thumb safety, and an external spur hammer. Capacity is 6+1, and a lanyard loop is integrated into the frame.
Sighting is simple and durable with fixed iron sights, including an integral front blade and a fixed rear notch. Checkered wood grips with Colt medallions complete the Colt-branded presentation on this micro-size pistol.
