The G27 is Glock’s subcompact .40 S&W, offering a 3.43" barrel in the proven Gen3 format. This example was made in Austria and bears the Glock, Inc., Smyrna, GA import marking. The slide, frame, and metal serial plate all share matching numbers.
The pistol uses a black polymer frame with Gen3 finger grooves, pebble texture, and checkered front and back straps. The matte black slide has rear serrations, an external extractor, and a loaded chamber indicator. It is a striker-fired design with Glock’s Safe Action system and three passive safeties.
The steel barrel is cold hammer forged with polygonal rifling. This configuration is known for efficient gas seal and durability while maintaining compact overall length.
Factory fixed Glock polymer sights include a white dot front and white-outline U rear. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazine, and the platform accepts larger .40-caliber Glock magazines from the brand’s compact and full-size models. This Gen3 example is the variant without an accessory rail.
