A three-position safety and the internal box magazine provide familiar Model 70 handling. Capacity is 5+1, and the hinged floorplate is rollmarked "SUPER GRADE."
The 24-inch blued steel barrel is rollmarked "Winchester Proof Steel" and was produced in New Haven, Connecticut. An oval proof appears on the barrel shank, and the receiver bridge is marked "WINCHESTER TRADE MARK," underscoring its U.S. manufacture and factory proofing.
The walnut stock showcases Super Grade features: a shadow-line cheekpiece, cut checkering, an inletted monogram oval, a cross-bolt with rosette escutcheons, a black fore-end tip/spacer, and QD sling swivel studs. The red Winchester recoil pad and a 13.9-inch length of pull round out the traditional Super Grade profile.
The receiver is drilled and tapped, and this rifle comes with two-piece scope bases and rings installed. The rifle is configured without iron sights from the factory.
