The 7 in heavy-profile barrel is made from 4150 chrome-moly steel, threaded 1/2x28, and fitted with a compact cylindrical muzzle device. A 1:8 RH twist supports a wide range of 5.56 NATO bullet weights.
The receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum in flat dark earth, with markings that read "DIAMONDBACK FIREARMS, LLC COCOA, FL USA" and "CAL. MULTI / DB15." The flat-top upper features a T-marked Picatinny rail, forward assist, and shell deflector, with an ejection-port cover marked "5.56 NATO."
Diamondback's free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard includes a full-length top rail and lightening cuts, with DB shield logos on the lower and handguard. The FDE receivers and handguard are complemented by black small parts for a clean, two-tone look.
Controls are practical and familiar, with ambidextrous safety selectors and standard trigger, charging handle, and magazine release. The pistol is outfitted with a Gear Head Works adjustable stabilizing brace and a Magpul MOE-K2+ grip. Polymer flip-up sights are installed, and the extended polymer magazine provides a 40+1 capacity.
