The Government-length 5 in configuration uses a forged steel slide and frame for durability and precise fit. The slide features a tri-top profile, topstrap serrations to cut glare, front and rear cocking serrations, and lightening grooves at the front.
The barrel assembly is a stainless, heavy-profile bull barrel with a bushingless setup and a full-length guide rod, optimized for consistent lockup. Chambering is 9mm Luger with a single-stack 9+1 capacity.
Sighting equipment consists of Springfield's Tactical Rack U-Dot system: a tritium front dot paired with a fixed U-notch rear. Controls include a flat-faced solid trigger, a skeletonized rowel-style hammer, and both a manual thumb safety and a grip safety with a raised memory pad.
The frame is feature-rich, with an integral 3-slot Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rail on the dustcover, a squared trigger guard, and grenade-pattern texturing on the frontstrap and mainspring housing.
