The action is paired with a two-stage trigger, delivering the familiar M1A feel in a handier package with an overall length of approximately 37.25 inches.
The 16.5-inch carbon steel barrel uses a 1:11 twist and 6-groove rifling, capped with the SOCOM-specific ported muzzle brake to manage recoil and muzzle movement. The bore is described as clean with sharp rifling.
