Built on the 1911 platform and part of the Baby Rock Series, the BBR 3.10 uses an all-steel carbon-steel frame and slide with a matte black parkerized finish. The subcompact-length slide and shortened, two-finger grip profile deliver a small footprint while retaining the A2 double-stack architecture for a 10+1 capacity in .45 ACP.
The 3.10 in linked, bushingless bull barrel is ported, and the slide carries three matching ports. A dual full-length guide-rod system with dual springs supports the short-slide .45 ACP configuration. The bull-type muzzle fit and carbon-steel construction emphasize durability and tight lockup characteristics typical of this design.
Controls include a left-side magazine release, left-side thumb safety, and a grip safety. The trigger is a skeletonized unit with an overtravel screw, paired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer. The mainspring housing is flat with vertical checkering, and the pistol has no accessory rail.
Sighting equipment consists of a serrated, dovetailed front blade and a fully adjustable rear with white dots, elevation screw, and UP indicator. Markings include ROCK ISLAND ARMORY on the left slide, 3.10 on the right-front of the slide, and CAL. 45 ACP on the chamber. Import and origin markings read APINTL-PAHRUMP NV and ACP PHILIPPINES.
