The Model 336CS action is a lever-action, side-eject design with a right-side loading gate. It uses a standard lever and incorporates a cross-bolt safety. The full-length tubular magazine provides a 6+1 capacity in .30-30.
The 20" round steel barrel is marked for Micro-Groove rifling, and the rifle wears open sights: a hooded ramp front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. This configuration delivers the sight picture many shooters expect from a traditional Marlin carbine.
The blued steel receiver is drilled and tapped, and this example comes with a receiver scope base and Weaver USA rings already installed. The side-eject receiver layout supports straightforward top-mount ring placement.
The wood stock includes a factory rubber recoil pad with a white-line spacer and Marlin horse-and-rider logo, plus sling studs for carry. Length of pull measures 13.5". Built in the United States in 1990, this full-size rifle retains the classic Model 336CS look and handling.
