The 680-series, low-profile action on this 682 Skeet uses replaceable trunnions and a 6-o'clock locking bite, paired with a boxlock break-action layout, automatic ejectors, a single trigger, and a tang safety. Capacity is two rounds.
The 28-inch monobloc barrels are blued and feature a ventilated top rib and ventilated side ribs. A broad, matted vent rib carries a mid-bead and a fiber-optic front bead with a red end bead. Chambers are 2 3/4 inches with fixed Skeet/Skeet chokes.
The walnut stock set includes an adjustable comb, beavertail forend with Beretta medallion, checkered pistol grip, and a ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer. Length of pull is 13.75 inches. The stock shows slight right-hand cast-off with a neutral grip profile.
The steel receiver wears a coin-finished silver treatment and a "SKEET" marking on the trigger guard. Markings include Italian proof marks (PSF FINITO), P. Beretta - Gardone V.T. - Italy, and importer stamp BERETTA USA CORP., Accokeek, MD. Origin is Italy.
