It is U.S.-made with West Columbia, SC rollmarks, features a stamped and riveted receiver with magwell dimples, and is outfitted with a tan 100-series-pattern folding stock and Magpul pistol grip. The receiver carries PALMETTO STATE ARMORY • WEST COLUMBIA, SC rollmarks along with model AK-104, caliber 7.62x39, and GF5 markings. It uses a stamped, riveted receiver with magwell dimples and a long-stroke gas piston action. Selector legends are marked S and A on the right side. Country of origin is the United States.
A hinged, railed top cover provides a continuous Picatinny rail interface with the extended aluminum M-LOK handguard. The handguard includes top rail sections and is marked with patent US11226106B1 and code JLB-F-A-AKR, noting the aftermarket upgrade specified for this rifle.
The front end uses a 90-degree gas block/front sight combination typical of the AK-104 pattern, paired with a conical booster-type muzzle device. Iron sights are retained, with the front sight integrated into the combo block and the rear sight integral to the railed, hinged top cover.
