Built on a Winchester-made U.S. M1917 Enfield action from the WWI era, this rifle uses a forged steel receiver and the Enfield-pattern controlled-round-feed system with cock-on-close operation. It feeds from a fixed internal magazine with a hinged floorplate and a stated 6+1 capacity.
The rifle is thoroughly sporterized: the receiver bridge ears and original aperture rear sight were removed, and a non-military hardwood stock was installed. The stock features a right-side cheekpiece, a fluted pistol grip, an inletted rear sling swivel, and a ventilated rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 13.75 inches.
The barrel has been shortened to 24 inches. Plugged screw holes are present near the muzzle. A barrel-mounted open rear sight is installed, and the front sight has been removed.
For optics setup flexibility, the left side of the receiver is drilled and tapped for a side-mount scope base. Sling swivels are fitted at the barrel band and butt to support carry with a sling.
