This carbine features the pre-Angle Eject, top-eject receiver configuration. The top of the receiver is not drilled and tapped, and the upper left receiver wall has two factory plug-screwed holes for mounting a receiver sight.
The 20 in round Winchester Proof Steel barrel is chambered in .30-30, paired with a full-length tubular magazine for a 6+1 capacity. It retains the standard loop lever, exposed hammer, and a side loading gate.
Sights are factory iron: a ramped post front on a fixed base and a semi-buckhorn rear with a step elevator, providing the classic Model 94 sight picture. Winchester WP oval proofs are present on the barrel and receiver ring.
The stock set is walnut with a straight-grip, uncheckered profile and a carbine forend. It wears a black composition buttplate with the Winchester Repeating Arms logo, and the length of pull measures 13.5 in.
