This single-shot, bolt-action inline muzzleloader uses Remington's AMP closed-breech ignition that employs a proprietary brass priming case with a Remington 9 1/2 Large Magnum Rifle primer. It is designed to handle up to four 50-grain pellets (200 grains) of black powder substitute.
The 26 inch stainless-steel barrel features a heavy profile, spiral flutes, and a target crown. The 1:26 RH twist supports .50 caliber projectiles effectively, and the rifle is set up without iron sights. The receiver is stainless with a matte finish, drilled and tapped for optics, with two-piece Leupold-style scope bases already installed.
The Bell & Carlson Medalist M40 composite stock has a black finish with gray spider-web accents and an integral aluminum bedding block for stability. It includes a straight comb, varmint-style forend, recoil pad, sling swivel stud, and a hinged storage compartment with under-floor primed-case storage.
The spiral-fluted bolt body incorporates an extended bolt nose and dual gas-vent ports. Overall length is approximately 47 inches, with a weight of about 9.5 lb. This model is made in the USA and uses the X-Mark Pro trigger that is externally adjustable.
