This compact Ruger SP101 is a .357 Magnum double-action/single-action revolver built in 2014 with a 2.25 inch full-underlug stainless barrel and a satin stainless finish. It uses Ruger's solid frame without side plates and a triple-locking cylinder for secure lockup. An aftermarket one-piece rubber grip is installed, and a pair of HKS 586-A speedloaders is included.

The SP101’s all-stainless construction includes the barrel, frame, cylinder, and receiver, all finished in satin stainless. The compact frame and 2.25 inch barrel with a full underlug deliver a sturdy, well-balanced small-frame revolver with a 5-round cylinder.
This model is a double-action/single-action design with an exposed spurred hammer and Ruger’s transfer-bar safety. The cylinder features triple locking, and the solid, side-plate-free frame design adds rigidity.
Sights are fixed, with a pinned black ramp front and an integral rear groove. The barrel uses 5-groove rifling with a 1:16 right-hand twist.
