Manufactured in 1995 by Arsenal in Bulgaria, this PM is a commercial export variant with English rollmarks and a "Made in BULGARIA" marking. The U.S. import stamp "D.I.G. VA. BCH.
VA." is present. The AE serial prefix denotes 1995 production per Bulgarian date coding.
The pistol follows the original PM design with a fixed barrel and straight-blowback action. It operates DA/SA and uses a slide-mounted safety that also functions as a decocker. Controls include a heel magazine release with an integrated lanyard loop and an exposed spurred hammer.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish. The slide is polished blued and features rear serrations and an anti-glare rib along the top. Grips are black checkered synthetic with star medallions, providing a secure hold while preserving the classic PM profile.
Sights are fixed: a front blade paired with a rear notch that includes two white dots for quick reference. The compact format uses a 3.65-inch fixed barrel and an 8+1 capacity. One 8-round single-stack magazine is included.
