What's Included
- Great Plains Rifle .50 percussion muzzleloader
Built as a faithful reproduction within the Great Plains Rifle series, this single-shot muzzleloader uses a side-lock percussion caplock with a snail (patent) breech and a clean-out screw. The barrel is clearly marked "GREAT PLAINS RIFLE .50," and the rifle is designated for black powder only.
The 32" full-length octagonal barrel pairs with an iron sight set: a dovetailed front blade and a dovetailed open rear sight. Double-set triggers provide a traditional two-stage trigger setup suitable for precise shot control.
The hardwood half-stock includes a cheekpiece and is fitted with a steel crescent buttplate and a steel nose cap. The barrel is secured by two wedge keys with oval escutcheons, and an under-rib with two ramrod pipes is fitted beneath the barrel. Length of pull measures 13.7 inches.
Origin and markings are well documented: Italian proof marks, the square Investarm logo, and "MADE IN ITALY" are present. This is an Italian-made reproduction that retains the classic styling and mechanical layout expected of a Great Plains Rifle.
