This Italian-made Summit Sporting over/under stands out with a coin-finish, factory scroll-engraved receiver and competition-focused stock fit. It features an adjustable comb with a right-hand palm swell, cast-off to the right, and slight toe-out, along with a single selective trigger and top-tang safety with barrel selector. The gun uses Caesar Guerini’s Maxis extended competition chokes and comes in a fitted red factory case. The design incorporates replaceable trunnions and locking lugs, and the engraving pattern is attributed to Dario Cortini. Barrel length is 30".
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: There are minimal markings from previous handling and use. There are very light signs of finish loss toward the muzzle and a scratch on the barrel. The furniture shows light scratches and small blemishes. The locking lug retains a good amount of life and the barrel fit is tight. The ejectors are properly timed, and the firing pins are in solid shape.

The Summit Sporting configuration delivers a ventilated top rib with a front bead, selective ejectors, and a break-action with a single selective, gold-colored trigger. It uses a top-tang safety with an integrated barrel selector. Chambers are 2 3/4" (70 mm) and the capacity is 2 rounds. This example includes Maxis extended competition chokes in light modified, modified, improved cylinder (two), cylinder, and skeet.
The stock is set up for right-handed shooters, with a pistol grip and right-hand palm swell, cast-off to the right, and a slight toe-out. An adjustable comb allows fine-tuning of point of impact, while the checkered beavertail/schnabel-style forend provides solid purchase. A black recoil pad and a diamond inlay round out the furniture.
The receiver wears a coin finish with factory scroll engraving, including the top lever and trigger guard. The engraving pattern is attributed to Dario Cortini. Marked Made in Italy, this shotgun reflects Caesar Guerini’s Italian build and aesthetic.
Competition-oriented details include the extended screw-in Maxis choke system and a ventilated rib for heat dissipation. The design uses replaceable trunnions and locking lugs.
