This ATI Scorpion configuration adds capability to the classic Mossberg 500 platform. The receiver-top Picatinny rail allows mounting of optics, and the ATI shroud integrates a 4-round shell carrier for quick access. A tri-rail fore-end clamp provides additional mounting points at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock for lights or accessories, and a vented heat shield protects the support hand during extended use.
The 18.5" steel barrel, standard-length magazine tube, and 5+1 capacity keep the package compact and maneuverable. It is chambered for both 2-3/4" and 3" 12 gauge shells, offering broad ammunition flexibility. The aluminum receiver carries factory markings reading "MOSSBERG – NORTH HAVEN, CT U.S.A." and "500 12 GA."
ATI's adjustable synthetic stock features a recoil pad and pistol grip, with a gray/black finish that matches the polymer forend. The adjustable length of pull ranges from 12.25" to 15.75", helping tailor the fit to the shooter or application. The gray synthetic forend includes a textured panel for a positive grasp.
Sighting is straightforward with a brass bead front plus a protective front sight wing; no rear sight is present. The firearm wears a uniform matte black finish over the metalwork, while the furniture contrasts in gray/black. Overall, this is a well-appointed, U.S.-made 500 configured for accessory mounting and fast handling.
