Benelli's inertia-driven action with a rotating multi-lug bolt head provides a simple, proven operating system. The bright, in-the-white bolt contrasts cleanly with the black anodized receiver and contributes to the Montefeltro's distinctive look.
The 28 inch steel barrel features a vent rib with longitudinal serrations and a single front orange bead for a clear sight picture. It is threaded for removable flush-fit choke tubes and comes with a Full choke installed. The chamber is marked 76 mm (3 inch) and is suitable for 2 3/4 or 3 inch shells.
Materials and finishes are classic and durable: a polished blued steel barrel paired with a black anodized aluminum alloy receiver. The walnut stock and fore-end include cut checkering for a secure hold, a recoil pad, and a fore-end panel inlaid with the Benelli logo. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches.
