The KS7 uses a bottom-loading, bottom-eject bullpup layout to keep overall length to 26.1 inches while maintaining an 18.5-inch barrel. Its single under-barrel magazine tube feeds 7+1 rounds with 2.75-inch shells or 6+1 with 3-inch shells, providing solid capacity in a streamlined package.
Sighting is straightforward through the removable carry handle’s integrated channel paired with a green fiber-optic front sight. The polymer M-LOK-compatible forend supports accessory attachment, and the stock includes sling slots and a rubber buttpad for control and comfort. Length of pull is 13.0 inches.
Construction is centered on a steel smoothbore, non-threaded barrel and a polymer receiver/frame with a black finish. The action is pump-operated with a cross-bolt safety, and the shotgun is chambered for 3-inch 12-gauge shells. Ambidextrous operation is achieved through downward ejection.
Introduced in 2019 as a lighter, single-tube variant of the KSG, the KS7 quickly earned recognition, including being named 2020 Shotgun of the Year by American Rifleman.
