The Hardballer’s stainless construction features brushed slide flats with bead-blasted rounds and frame, giving it a clean two-texture finish. The slide is Government length with a serrated flat-top rib, rear vertical cocking serrations only, and a lowered/flared ejection port.
Sight regulation is handled by an iron sight set with a micro-adjustable rear sight protected by side wings and a serrated, ramped front sight. Controls include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, a grip safety, and a hammer intercept notch. The action is single-action, locked-breech, semi-automatic.
Ergonomics and reloads are enhanced by the installed Pachmayr Signature wraparound rubber grips and the flared add-on magazine-well funnel. A skeletonized three-hole trigger rounds out the driver’s interface with a familiar 1911 feel.
Markings include a Covina, CA frame stamp. The slide is marked "HARDBALLER" with the AMT logo and "AUTOMATIC CALIBER .45" on the left side, and "STAINLESS - MADE IN U.S.A." on the right. Capacity is 8+1, and this pistol ships with two 8-round magazines and one 7-round magazine.
