The Thompson/Center Renegade in .50 caliber is a classic, American-made percussion sidelock with a 26-inch heavy octagonal barrel and iron sights. This example features a right-hand lock with a color casehardened lockplate, a walnut-toned hardwood stock with a steel buttplate stamped "TC," and an excellent, bright bore. It is wedge-key retained and clearly roll-marked on the barrel, with a black powder/Pyrodex-only warning.

The 26-inch heavy octagonal barrel is secured by two wedge keys and bears clear roll-markings on the top flat identifying the maker, location, caliber, and model. The barrel is additionally marked with a "Black Powder or Pyrodex Only" warning.
Its right-hand percussion sidelock features a color casehardened lockplate and a single, non-set trigger. The hammer is percussion style, consistent with the rifle's traditional sidelock design.
Sighting is straightforward and adjustable: a dovetailed front blade pairs with an adjustable open rear sight that uses a step/elevator and a windage screw for precise zeroing.
The walnut-toned hardwood stock has a straight comb and is fitted with a steel buttplate stamped "TC," plus a toe plate. An under-rib carries two ramrod pipes and a wood ramrod with metal tips. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Chambered in .50 caliber with a single-shot capacity, this Renegade was made in the United States. The bore condition is excellent, with sharp rifling and a mirror-bright finish.
