The SIG Sauer 716i TREAD is a U.S.-made, AR-10 pattern rifle chambered in .308 Win with a direct-impingement operating system. This example features a 16-inch nitrided CMV-marked barrel with 1:10 twist, forged hardcoat-anodized receivers, and a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard with a continuous 1913 top rail. It comes with five SR-25 pattern Magpul PMAGs and an installed M-LOK QD sling swivel mount, offering ample on-range readiness and capacity.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor handling marks and small surface blemishes are present. Overall cosmetic wear is light.

Built on the AR-10 platform, the 716i TREAD uses a direct-impingement gas system with a rotating bolt. The upper receiver includes an ejection-port cover and brass deflector, and it omits a forward assist. Forged aluminum receivers wear a durable hardcoat anodized finish in black.
The 16-inch barrel is nitrided CMV carbon steel with a 1:10 twist for .308 Win. It is threaded 5/8x24 and fitted with a pronged flash hider. This configuration balances handling with ballistic performance while keeping overall length manageable.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides modern accessory mounting with a continuous 1913 Picatinny top rail. Furniture includes a 6-position telescoping carbine stock (approximate LOP 11.5–15 inches) and a SIG-branded polymer pistol grip. No iron sights are included from the factory.
Compatibility with SR-25 pattern magazines and the included five PMAGs support the rifle’s 25+1 maximum capacity. Overall length is approximately 33.8–37.0 inches, and weight is about 8.5 lb. Markings include SIG SAUER INC, NEWINGTON NH USA; MULTI-CALIBER; the stylized TREAD emblem; a U.S. flag laser mark; and a large SIG logo.
