The A400 Xplor Action uses Beretta’s gas system paired with a B-Link rotating-bolt design for reliable cycling. It is chambered 76 mm (3") for 2 3/4"–3" shells and holds 3+1 rounds. Controls include a cross-bolt safety and a round bolt-release button on the right side, with right-side ejection.
The 28-inch Optima-Bore HP (OB HP) barrel is marked 18.6 mm and uses the removable Optima-Choke HP system. This example has a ventilated, checkered rib and a red front bead for a clean sight picture. Included choke tubes are Cylinder (OK-STEEL) and Full (NO-STEEL).
The receiver is aluminum alloy with a bronze anodized finish. Italian proof marks and "Made in Italy" are present, along with "IT19" among the markings. The magazine cap is grooved for secure handling.
The walnut stock features a pistol-grip, crisp checkering, and a recoil pad, with a rear sling swivel stud installed. Length of pull measures 14.4 inches, and the forend checkering carries a Beretta oval medallion detail.
