The VP9K A1 brings the compact format to the VP9 line while retaining the controls and ergonomics that define the series. Proofed in Germany with DE, CIP N, and stag antler marks and imported by HKI, Columbus, GA, this example reflects current VP9 A1 updates in a smaller package.
Its 4.09 in cold-hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling (6-groove, RH) with a 1:9.8 RH twist. This barrel specification, combined with the pistol's short-recoil, striker-fired system, delivers consistent performance with standard 9mm Luger loads.
The slide is optics-ready with the factory two-screw cover plate installed and includes rear charging supports for positive manipulation. Fixed iron sights pair a luminous front dot with a plain square-notch rear for a clear, uncluttered sight picture.
Controls are fully ambidextrous with slide stop levers on both sides and HK's paddle-style magazine release. Additional features include a nickel-Teflon-coated trigger bar, a striker status indicator, and an integral accessory rail on the dust cover. The polymer frame has molded stippling, and the interchangeable backstrap and side panels allow a tailored grip. Capacity is 15+1 with the included steel magazines. The serial number is repeated on the slide and barrel hood, consistent with HK production.
