This Springfield Armory XD-9 Sub-Compact is the original XD-series 9mm with a 3-inch barrel, forged steel slide, and Trijicon tritium night sights. It was manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and is marked accordingly, with matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel hood, and frame. It comes well-equipped with five steel magazines and factory XD Gear accessories.

The Sub-Compact XD-9 pairs a compact profile with a forged steel slide and a 3-inch hammer-forged barrel finished in Melonite/nitride for durability. The slide features rear serrations and an external loaded-chamber indicator on top, with a rear striker-status indicator for at-a-glance status checks.
Factory Trijicon tritium night sights are dovetailed into the steel slide, providing clear sight pictures in varied light. The ambidextrous magazine release supports left- or right-handed operation, and the single-slot accessory rail on the dustcover accommodates compatible lights or lasers.
This pistol incorporates the XD safety suite: a grip safety, split trigger safety, striker block, loaded-chamber indicator, and striker-status indicator. The original/legacy XD configuration (not Mod.2) is present, with textured grip panels on the black polymer frame.
Manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and marketed by Springfield Armory, the pistol bears "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A." and "SPRINGFIELD INC. GENESEO IL MADE IN CROATIA" markings. Matching serial numbers appear on the slide, barrel hood, and frame, aligning the major components.
Capacity is 16+1 with the included extended magazine, and four compact 13-round magazines are also included. The set is rounded out with the factory XD series hard case and XD Gear accessories.
