The MasterPiece Arms DS9 Hybrid is a full-size, double-stack 9mm built in the USA with DS Series bar-stock/billet construction and a hand-lapped slide-to-frame fit. It features a 5-inch bushingless bull barrel, a Hybrid slide with multiple top lightening windows, and a full-length dustcover with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. This example is in as-new condition and includes both 23-round and 21-round magazines.
Condition
Overall Condition: As-new condition with no signs of prior handling beyond what’s typical from inspection (see photos).
Bore Condition: New - As-new bore with no signs of use beyond factory testing.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The pistol appears to have never been fired and presents like-new inside and out. There are only a couple of pinhead-size marks in the magwell from inserting a magazine.

The DS9 Hybrid is a single-action, hammer-fired, 1911-platform pistol engineered for high-capacity 9mm performance. Its DS Series build emphasizes bar-stock/billet components and a hand-lapped slide-to-frame fit, and it is made in Comer, Georgia, USA. Ambidextrous thumb safeties and a beavertail grip safety provide familiar 1911-style controls with modern ergonomics.
The 5-inch bushingless bull barrel delivers a solid lockup, while the barrel hood is clearly marked "9x19." The Hybrid slide includes multiple top lightening windows and front and rear diagonal cocking serrations for confident manipulation. A relief "butler-cut" at the dustcover nose refines the front profile.
The full-length dustcover integrates a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail for mounting lights. The metal double-stack grip with golf-ball texture enhances purchase, and the enlarged magwell funnel engraved "MPA" speeds magazine changes. A skeletonized hammer and a flat-faced trigger with lightening windows round out the competition-forward controls.
Iron sights are set up with a fiber-optic front blade and a serrated square-notch rear for a clear sight picture. The double-stack magazine system offers up to 23+1 capacity, and this pistol includes one 23-round magazine and one 21-round magazine. The trigger is tuned to approximately 2.56 lb, matching the QC tag notation of 2 lbs 9 oz.
