The Light Twenty variant delivers the Auto-5 experience in 20 gauge with a long-recoil action and the classic humpback receiver profile. Capacity is 5 rounds, and the chamber is cut for 2 3/4-inch shells. A magazine cut-off lever on the left side of the receiver and a gold-colored trigger are present, consistent with period A-5 features.
The shotgun is fitted with a later Japanese-made 26-inch vent-rib barrel threaded for Standard Invector choke tubes, providing choke interchangeability. The rib is matted to reduce glare, and a small front bead serves as the sight. An IC choke is installed.
Factory scroll engraving enhances the receiver, with the BROWNING name and a John M. Browning cameo on the left side. The top of the receiver is engraved with the script "Twenty." The blued finish presents cleanly overall.
The walnut stock set has a high-gloss finish, round-knob pistol grip, and cut checkering. A hard buttplate with the FN oval logo is fitted, and the length of pull measures 14.25 inches. The long forearm follows the traditional A-5 pattern.
Markings include "MADE IN JAPAN, BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q." These align with the later barrel assembly noted above.
