The K6xs combines a 2-inch, one-piece stainless barrel with 5R rifling, a full underlug, and a shrouded ejector. The bead-blasted stainless steel barrel and cylinder contrast with the KimPro silver–coated T6 aluminum-alloy frame for a durable, matte silver presentation.
Its small-frame six-shot cylinder features deep flutes, countersunk chambers, and front-edge chamfers, with a push-button cylinder release for positive actuation. The enclosed hammer and double-action-only system pair with a non-stacking, smooth trigger.
Fixed sights consist of an integral ramped front blade with an orange dot and a trench rear milled into the topstrap with protective ears. This low-profile arrangement is built directly into the revolver for durability.
Dimensions measure 6.8 in overall length, 5.5 in height, and 1.4 in width. Unloaded weight is 15.9 oz. The revolver is rated for .38 Special +P and is marked "KIMBER TROY AL USA."
Introduced in 2023 as the first alloy-frame, .38 Special–only member of the K6 series, the K6xs delivers a six-round capacity in a compact package with materials and features selected for carry-focused durability and handling.
