The Black Gold Sporting High Grade treatment sets this Citori 725 apart with extensive scroll engraving and distinctive gold-inlaid oil derrick vignettes on a silver-finished steel receiver. A gold Buckmark logo accents the trigger guard, and factory markings include the Browning/Miroku import line and barrels marked "CITORI SPECIAL STEEL."
Its sporting setup centers on 30" steel barrels with vented top and side ribs, back-bored bores, lengthened forcing cones, and the Invector-DS choke system with extended tubes. Chokes included are F (installed), M (installed), IM, SK, and IC, providing a wide range of pattern options for clays or field use.
The low-profile 725 receiver keeps the gun lively between targets. Controls are familiar and functional, with a top-tang safety and barrel selector and a single selective, mechanical Fire Lite trigger. Ejectors are properly timed, and the action locks up tight with healthy lug engagement.
Stocked in checkered walnut with a pistol grip and beavertail forend, this gun offers a 14.75" length of pull and a recoil pad for a stable mount. A bright green fiber-optic front bead sits on the vented rib for clear target reference, and the shotgun is chambered for 2 3/4" and 3" 20-gauge shells with a 2-round capacity.
This example is the factory high-grade Black Gold Sporting variant as indicated on the carton label ("C 725 BLK GLD SPT HG, 20–3, 30 DS"). It retains the hallmark 725 features and finishes that buyers look for in a premium Miroku-made over/under from Browning.
