This full-size 1911 runs a Government-length 5-inch barrel and an 8+1 capacity in .45 ACP. It uses a short-recoil, tilting-barrel system with a barrel bushing, retaining the traditional 1911 operating setup valued for consistency and serviceability.
The pistol wears a two-tone finish with a matte black slide and matte silver frame. The slide has both front and rear cocking serrations and is marked 'CUSTOM CRIMSON CARRY II'. Sights are fixed and dovetailed, with a plain front blade and rear notch set without dots for a clean sight picture.
Factory Crimson Trace lasergrips in checkered laminated hardwood are installed, featuring front-strap activation. These grips are integrated to the platform and provide an additional aiming reference while maintaining a slim, single-stack profile.
Controls are on the left side, including a manual thumb safety and a grip safety, and the design incorporates Kimber’s Series II firing-pin safety. The dust cover is non-railed to preserve the classic 1911 profile.
