This Model 605 pairs a compact 2.25-inch steel barrel with a partial underlug and longitudinal top rib serrations, giving the snubnose a clean profile and balanced front end. The polished blue/black oxide finish covers the steel frame and cylinder for a traditional appearance.
Controls are straightforward and robust: DA/SA operation, an exposed hammer with a checkered spur, and a smooth trigger. A knurled cylinder release latch and a short ejector rod with a knurled tip support fast, positive manipulation.
The fixed sight system uses a serrated ramped front and a top-strap groove rear. Black rubber finger-groove grips with the Taurus medallion offer a secure hold on the small-frame design.
