It retains a classic GI-pattern setup with fixed sights, a single-stack 7+1 capacity, and RIA checkered grips. Clear model and import markings are present, and it comes with one 7-round magazine, the factory hard case, and the original owner's manual.

The M 1911-A1 FS follows the Government profile with a 5 inch barrel and a single-action, short-recoil operating system. It uses a single-stack frame for a 7+1 capacity in .45 ACP, and the barrel hood is marked "CAL. 45 ACP." Controls and recoil system are GI-pattern with a standard short guide rod, spring plug, and barrel bushing.
The slide and frame are steel with a uniform matte silver/gray finish. The frame has a smooth front strap and a flat mainspring housing without a lanyard loop. It is equipped with a spur hammer and a short, solid trigger, along with manual thumb and grip safeties.
Sight configuration is the classic GI pattern: a staked front blade and a small square-notch rear in a dovetail. The slide features vertical, rear-only serrations for manipulation.
Model marking "M 1911-A1 FS" appears on the frame. Import and proof information reads "APINTL – PAHRUMP NV, PHILIPPINES," and the pistol is made in the Philippines. Grips are black checkered panels with the Rock Island Armory medallion.
