This first-generation Smith & Wesson M&P9 is the full-size, 4.25-inch configuration in 9mm Luger with the pre-M2.0 frame. It features no manual thumb safety, an absent magazine disconnect (as indicated by the slide marking CAUTION - CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED), and ambidextrous slide stop levers. It includes two 17-round magazines and retains the original M&P fish-scale rear slide serrations, dovetailed 3-dot sights, and an integral accessory rail.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There are markings from previous handling and use. The bore is bright and clean with light signs of rusting on the corners of the rifling near the muzzle. Refer to pictures.

This M&P9 is the original, pre-M2.0 full-size model built in the United States with a 4.25-inch steel barrel, a black steel slide, and a black polymer frame. It retains the integral beavertail and the recognizable rear fish-scale cocking serrations of the first-generation design.
Controls are straightforward and duty-oriented: no manual thumb safety, an absent magazine disconnect safety, ambidextrous slide stop levers, and a left-side magazine release. The sear deactivation lever allows field-stripping without pulling the trigger.
Sight configuration is a dovetailed 3-dot white system with a dovetailed white-dot front and a dovetailed white-dot rear. The slide has rear serrations only, with no front serrations, matching the early M&P pattern.
Capacity is 17+1 rounds of 9mm Luger, and this pistol comes with two 17-round magazines. An integral three-slot accessory rail is molded into the dust cover for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
