The MCX-SPEAR LT series brings a two-position adjustable gas regulator and an internal recoil system that enables the rifle to fold and fire with its 1913-interface, skeletonized stock. Ambidextrous controls and a right-side bolt-catch/release lever support fast, mirrored manipulation without changing grip.
The 16-inch barrel is cold-hammer-forged and nitrided for durability, with a 1:7 twist to stabilize common 5.56 NATO loadings. It is threaded 1/2x28 and capped with a three-prong flash hider.
An aluminum M-LOK handguard with a continuous 12-o'clock Picatinny rail offers mounting space, plus gas system access windows marked with plus/minus for quick regulator reference. The receiver is a forged aluminum alloy with steel wear inserts and a coyote anodized finish, complemented by an ejection port dust cover and case deflector block.
The folding stock includes a rubber buttpad and cheek rest, and the rifle ships with two 30-round Magpul PMAG Gen M3 windowed magazines. A SIG polymer pistol grip, ambidextrous safety selector, and ambidextrous magazine release are standard.
