It features the 12C hallmark 24-inch full-length octagon barrel, side ejection, and takedown construction. The rifle wears a blued finish over walnut furniture and retains period-correct iron sights. Barrel markings reflect multiple Pedersen patents and the Remington-UMC corporate address style.

    What’s Included

    • Remington Model 12C Target .22 S/L/LR pump-action rifle

The 12C Target variant is defined by its 24-inch full-length octagon barrel, a classic target configuration for this series. The rifle uses iron sights with a dovetailed front and an open rear sight with elevator, providing a traditional rimfire sight picture consistent with the model’s intent.

Designed by John D. Pedersen, this hammerless slide-action features side ejection and a takedown design for transport and maintenance. It feeds from an under-barrel tubular magazine, with capacity varying by cartridge length and listed here at 14+1.

The rifle is finished in blued steel and set in walnut furniture, including a semi-pistol grip buttstock with steel buttplate and a grooved walnut fore-end for positive purchase. The length of pull measures 13.0 inches, aligning with period ergonomics.

Barrel markings note multiple Pedersen patents along with Remington-UMC address styling, aligning with the rifle’s 1931-era production context. As a United States-made Model 12C Target, it represents a collectible rimfire configuration within the Model 12 series.
