The Scorpion EVO 3 S1 operates on a simple blowback, semi-automatic action in 9mm Luger and uses a 7-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel with factory 18x1 mm RH threads. A full-length Picatinny rail runs along the top, and the polymer handguard provides molded accessory rails at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. Factory adjustable flip-up front and rear sights are installed.
User controls are straightforward and ambidextrous where it counts: a paddle-style magazine release, a two-position manual safety with selectors on both sides, and a reversible, non-reciprocating charging handle. The handle includes a manual bolt hold-open notch for quick administrative handling.
This example is set up with an SB Tactical side-folding arm brace featuring a skeletonized design with a Velcro strap. An aftermarket stainless multi-port muzzle device is mounted to the threaded barrel, and a compact hand stop is secured to the 6 o'clock rail. A Magpul pistol grip rounds out the installed enhancements.
Markings and documentation add clarity: Czech proof/inspection marks are present with a '21 date code on the barrel block, indicating the 2021 Czech proof year. Importer mark is CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS. The barrel block and receiver carry matching serial numbers.
