Built on the pre-1976 Type 1 pattern in Belgium, this Grade II BAR combines Browning’s gas-operated semi-automatic action with fine factory embellishment. The receiver is polished blue steel with factory scroll engraving and an animal-head vignette on the side panel, complemented by Belgian Liège proof marks.
Chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum, it uses a 24-inch barrel and feeds from a detachable box magazine housed within a hinged floorplate. The action is gas-operated with right-side ejection and a right-hand bolt handle, and the capacity is 4+1.
Sighting equipment includes a ramped blade front and an adjustable folding-leaf rear. A one-piece scope base with the circled B logo is already installed, offering a solid mounting platform if you choose to add optics.
The stock is gloss-finished walnut with sharp checkering, a contrasting fore-end tip with a white spacer, and a recoil pad with a white-line spacer. Sling swivel studs are fitted, and a detachable front sling swivel is installed.
