The Apollo 11 uses a 4.15 in bushingless stainless bull barrel with three ports near the muzzle. Its tri-top slide includes forward lightening windows that align with the barrel ports, plus front and rear serrations and two countersunk screws on top. The slide is marked "APOLLO 11" with the Live Free Armory lion-head logo and Palm Bay, FL USA marking.
The double-stack 4140 steel frame delivers a 17+1 capacity and includes a flared magazine well for quicker reloads. Controls follow the single-action 1911 pattern with a beavertail grip safety with memory bump and ambidextrous thumb safeties. A skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized, curved, three-hole trigger complete the fire-control setup.
Sighting is straightforward and durable: a fixed black rear notch pairs with a front blade that carries a high-visibility green dot. The dust cover features a 1913 accessory rail with five slots for mounting compatible lights or other accessories.
This example ships well-appointed for immediate range use, including three 17-round steel magazines with numbered witness holes, both the original case and a branded soft case, a CrossBreed IWB holster, a cable lock, and a spare grip module with fish-scale texture. It is a recent U.S. release introduced circa 2023–2024.
