What’s Included
- Original SIG Sauer factory hard case
- Two 20-round P226 magazines
- Three 15-round P226 magazines
The SAO layout deletes the decocker and adds ambidextrous thumb safeties, paired with a flat-faced single-action trigger for a consistent pull. The full-size aluminum-alloy P226R frame includes a 3-slot Picatinny rail for lights and accessories, and is fitted with ZEV/Hogue hexagonal-texture black G10 grips for secure purchase.
The ZEV-designed slide brings functional upgrades: an optics-ready cut with cover plate, a forward lightening window, and front and rear cocking serrations. Tall iron sights provide a plain black rear and a high-visibility orange fiber-optic front.
Its 4.9 in extended barrel is threaded 1/2x28 RH and features distinctive dimple-style fluting. The combination of extended length and threading offers compatibility with common 9mm muzzle devices, while the fluting reduces weight and adds visual definition.
Capacity is listed at 20+1, and this pistol accepts standard P226 magazines. Included are two 20-round steel magazines and three 15-round steel magazines; the mix includes extended-basepad and flush-baseplate types, with examples marked Made in USA and Made in Italy. The pistol carries ZEV branding and P226 Z markings, with manufacturer part number E26R-9-ZEV-SAO-TB-RXP and a case label dated February 22, 2024.
