This Tisas 1911 A1 Tank Commander is a compact 9mm with a forged steel slide and frame, a 4.25 in. hammer-forged barrel, and Series 70-type lockwork. It pairs classic GI-style sights and controls with Commander-length handling, and includes two 9-round single-stack magazines. Distinct import and model markings and the matte gray finish round out a clean, purpose-built Commander-format 1911.

The Commander-length setup uses a 4.25 in. hammer-forged barrel with a traditional bushing and plug recoil system. The forged steel slide and forged steel frame provide a strong foundation, and the Series 70-type lockwork preserves a straightforward single-action operation.
Controls follow the GI pattern with a short, solid trigger, an arched mainspring housing, and a rowel (Commander-style) ring hammer. Safety features include a thumb safety and a grip safety.
Sighting is GI-style and fixed: a plain blade front paired with a rear notch that has a serrated face. The slide carries rear-only vertical serrations for traction and wears a matte gray finish that matches the overall presentation.
Checkered double-diamond wood stocks are installed at the factory, and the package adds a spare set of checkered brown synthetic panels for flexibility. Capacity is 9+1 with the included single-stack steel magazines.
Markings include the slide roll-marked 1911 A1 TANK COMMANDER model designation, along with ZIG M9 and TURKIYE markings. The pistol also bears the Tisas Knoxville, TN importer stamp, providing clear model and origin identification.
