The 18 in half-octagon barrel complements the traditional lines and is paired with a buckhorn rear sight with stepped elevator and a dovetailed front blade. A steel forend cap secures the walnut forearm.
The walnut pistol-grip stock is checkered for control and has a 13.5 in length of pull, matched to a walnut forearm. The steel receiver wears a color case-hardened finish, while the barrel and other components are blued, creating a classic two-tone look. Made in Italy.
Markings include Model 1873 script on the upper tang, Italian proof marks, and a two-letter Italian date code on the lower tang. The barrel is import/mfg marked: Taylor's & Co., Winchester VA – A. Uberti Italy.
