This Smith & Wesson Model 629-6 Performance Center revolver stands out with its 7.5 in heavy slab-sided barrel, integral top rail, and twin compensator ports. Built on the stainless-steel N-frame in .44 Rem Magnum, it offers a 6-shot fluted cylinder, DA/SA action, and a satin stainless finish. It includes Hogue Monogrip rubber grips with an extra set of finger-groove hardwood stocks, and comes in a Performance Center aluminum case.

Designed and tuned by the Performance Center, this 629-6 is a stainless-steel N-frame DA/SA revolver chambered in .44 Rem Magnum with a 6-shot fluted cylinder. It features a satin stainless finish, a wide smooth trigger, and a wide checkered hammer spur, with the Performance Center medallion on the sideplate.
The stainless barrel measures 7.5 in and is heavy and slab-sided with a full-length underlug. A long oval lightening window is machined into the underlug, and two small compensator ports near the muzzle help vent gases. Internal muzzle threads are present at the crown.
An integral barrel-top rail with cross-slots is secured by Torx/hex screws, providing a rigid mounting platform. Iron sights include an orange ramp front and a fully adjustable rear with a white-outline notch, offering a clear and usable sight picture.
Controls and details include a knurled ejector-rod tip and the S&W internal key lock. The revolver wears Hogue Monogrip rubber grips, and an additional set of finger-groove hardwood stocks is included. The yoke is marked with assembly number 182. Made in the United States.
