This Bushmaster Model BACR short-barreled rifle stands out as an early Ilion-marked, Remington-era example from approximately 2010–2011. It pairs a 10.5" threaded barrel and short-stroke gas piston system with fully ambidextrous controls and a side-swappable charging handle. An aftermarket Midwest Industries aluminum M-LOK handguard is installed, and the upper rail bears an additional "BJW ARMS TRUS MANASSAS VA" engraving that adds provenance. It includes the original Bushmaster ACR manual and a 30-round Magpul PMAG.

The BACR is a 5.56mm NATO, semi-automatic SBR built around a short-stroke gas piston system and a 10.5" threaded barrel topped with a three-prong flash hider featuring a QD-style collar. It uses a detachable STANAG-pattern magazine system and is rated at 30+1 capacity. The upper receiver provides a continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny rail for mounting sights and accessories.
Controls and ergonomics are designed for flexibility, with an ambidextrous safety, ambidextrous magazine release, and ambidextrous bolt catch/release. The charging handle is side-mounted and side-swappable, configured on the right side as currently set. The stock is folding and telescoping with a QD sling loop, and the length of pull measures 11.0 inches. A polymer pistol grip with the Magpul "M" logo is installed.
This example features an aftermarket Midwest Industries ACR M-LOK aluminum handguard, adding modern accessory interface options while keeping weight in check.
