This JD Machine Mod. PR 3 stands out as a .308 Win AR-10/LR-308 pattern rifle built around an 18-inch DPMS-marked heavy, fluted, threaded barrel with a cylindrical multi-port muzzle brake. It features a JP adjustable clamp-on gas block and JP free-float round tube handguard, plus a Magpul PRS stock with adjustable cheek height and length of pull. Folding iron sights are installed, and four 10-round and one 20-round Magpul PMAG LR/SR magazines are included. The bore is bright and clean, and the rifle carries a low serial number within the model line.

The receiver set follows the AR-10/LR-308 pattern and includes an integral trigger guard and ejection-port dust cover. It uses SR-25/DPMS-pattern magazines and is finished in matte black anodizing, with a polished, silver-finished bolt carrier visible through the ejection port. Selector markings are SAFE/FIRE, and the rifle employs a manual safety.
The DPMS-marked 18-inch barrel uses a 1:10 twist and a heavy, fluted profile to support .308 Win performance. It is threaded and fitted with a cylindrical multi-port muzzle brake. The gas system is direct impingement and tuned via a JP-branded adjustable, clamp-on gas block that also provides a QD sling ring and a short top Picatinny segment.
A JP free-float round tube handguard with elongated slots and an underside swivel stud keeps the barrel isolated and offers mounting points. Folding iron sights are installed: a hooded front and a rear aperture unit. Picatinny mounting provision is present as specified.
The rear is anchored by a Magpul PRS stock on a fixed rifle-length extension, offering adjustable cheek height and adjustable length of pull; LOP is set at 14.0 inches. An overmolded, finger-groove pistol grip complements the setup. Capacity is 10+1, and four 10-round and one 20-round Magpul PMAG LR/SR magazines are included. This U.S.-made rifle also notes a low serial number within the model line.
