The Gen3 configuration is chambered in 5.7x28mm and is the FN Five-seveN magazine variant, offering a 20+1 capacity with the included 20-round magazine. It retains the SUB2000's signature folding design for compact storage and transport.
The carbine features a 16.15 in steel barrel and folds to a 16.15 in overall length. Extended overall length is 30.45 in and collapsed overall length is 29.2 in. Unloaded weight is 4.6 lb.
The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a thread protector. Rifling twist is 1:7 to suit 5.7x28mm projectiles.
A polymer handguard with full-length Picatinny rails on the top and bottom provides mounting surfaces, and the rifle is equipped with iron sights including a protected front post. The skeletonized stock is adjustable with a 13.25 in length of pull.
This simple blowback, semi-automatic platform uses a steel receiver with a black finish. It is manufactured in the USA in Cocoa, Florida.
