The Witness Compact pairs a steel frame and slide with Tanfoglio's durable matte silver Wonder finish. Import markings include EAA–Cocoa–FLA and Made in Italy, confirming its Italian manufacture and U.S. import path.
The short-recoil, locked-breech system is set up for DA/SA use, with an exposed spur hammer. Safety features include a manual safety and a firing pin block, and the magazine release is positioned on the left side. Black rubber wrap-around grips provide a secure, hand-filling hold on the compact frame.
The 3.6-inch bushingless barrel keeps the slide tidy and compact. The slide rides inside the frame rails, with rear serrations for positive manipulation and top serrations to reduce glare.
